The ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships

This is an international event involving long-distance surf ski ocean races. Races are divided into single-paddler (SS1) senior, junior and master age-group categories. The Championships have been held every two years since debuting in 2013.

Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta

This is an annual motorboat and river festival held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. It is an F1 powerboat race held in the United States since 1978.

The Bedford River Festival

This is a free festival held biennially in Bedford, England, on the banks of the River Great Ouse. The festival has boat shows and races – including raft races, dragon boat races, canoeing and more.

The Shark Island Challenge

The World Bog Snorkelling Championship

This event takes place every August in the dense Waen Rhydd peat bog near Llanwrtyd Wells in mid-Wales. Competitors travel from as far as England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and the US.

The Wakestock Action Sports and Music Festival

This is a wakeboarding contest and Canada’s largest action sports and music festival. It is held in Ontario, Canada, on the Toronto Islands, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The British Rowing Championships

This event takes place every year and is held at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont (Nottingham), with occasional championships held at the Strathclyde Country Park. It is a major event for club rowers.
