The ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships

This is an international event involving long-distance surf ski ocean races. Races are divided into single-paddler (SS1) senior, junior and master age-group categories. The Championships have been held every two years since debuting in 2013.

The Bedford River Festival

The Masters’ Water Ski Tournament

This is an annual water ski competition that holds at Robin Lake in the Callaway Gardens resort area outside of Pine Mountain, Georgia, U.S.A. The tournament is one of the sport’s oldest major championships.

The World Bog Snorkelling Championship

This event takes place every August in the dense Waen Rhydd peat bog near Llanwrtyd Wells in mid-Wales. Competitors travel from as far as England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and the US.

The Wakestock Action Sports and Music Festival

This is a wakeboarding contest and Canada’s largest action sports and music festival. It is held in Ontario, Canada, on the Toronto Islands, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The British Rowing Championships

This event takes place every year and is held at the National Water Sports Centre, Holme Pierrepont (Nottingham), with occasional championships held at the Strathclyde Country Park. It is a major event for club rowers.

The Finswimming World Championships

This is the peak international event for the underwater sport of finswimming. It is held every two years and was inaugurated in 1976.

Cowes Week

This is one of the longest-running regular regattas in the world, hosting up to  40 daily sailing races. It features up to 1,000 boats, with almost 9,000 competitors that range from amateur to world-class sailing professionals. It is the largest sailing regatta of its kind in the world.
